"Adkins Upholstery opened for business in 1984 on Main St. in Middletown, Ohio. One year later we moved to Trenton and have been here ever since. I originally started Adkins Upholstery taking on any work available in order to pay the bills and make a living for my family. The majority of my work was furniture upholstery, but this area was saturated with car enthusiasts, and when word got out that I had the ability to do automotive upholstery on classic cars business picked up to the point that we dropped the furniture line. Now, 40 years later, we specialize in automobile upholstery on vehicles from 1913 to present. In addition to auto upholstery, we have worked on boats, planes, trains, restaurant seating, church pews, libraries, motor homes, race cars, doctors’ offices and many things too numerous to mention. At Adkins Upholstery we give every project the same attention to detail in everything we do, whether it be small or large. We have been blessed with many wonderful customers over the last 40 years and, Lord willing, we will continue to serve customers for years to come."

"Adkins Upholstery has always been a part of my life. From a young age I would spend afternoons at the shop when released from school. As a teenager I learned the upholstery trade but never expected to make a career out of it. When I was 19, I was called by God to move to Florida for bible school. After receiving a Bachelors of Divinity from Pensacola Bible Institute, I moved back to Trenton to help out at my local church. As I began working at Adkins Upholstery full time, I enjoyed the sense of fulfillment I received. The upholstery trade is truly a unique and creative field. Through my time here over the last decade we have continued to build upon the reputation of craftsmanship and professionalism that Dad established while strengthening our relationship with dealers, businesses, and customers in our community. I am profoundly grateful to be a part of this great place and I look forward to serving the Cincinnati / Dayton area for years to come."
